Tips and FA'Q's

Differences between media clients
This Software has originally been developed for Pinnacle Showcenter 1000 and 200, but it is also working on compatible clients. Please read through this FAQ where some differences are explained.

Pinnacle Showcenter 1000

This is the box I'm using so the support for this media client is as good as possible.

Pinnacle Showcenter 200

In the meantime I'm also using 2 versions of this box so I'm pretty sure everything is running well on the Showcenter 200. One the the nicest features that came with this box is the HDVT support and addionally the menues can be shown with much better resolution. So if you are owner of a HDTV TV this should be your preferred choice. The only problem with the box is the feeding of Live TV and Radio, therefor we strongly recommend the usage of the MTP Streaming server is is fixing most of the problems.

Auvisio Media Box with Neston Firmware

A nice guy has send me his box for a while and so I was able to modify my software that it is now also supported without known issues. There are some differences using this box.

  • Instead of the back key (which is only working like a browser back button) my back functionality is supported with the tab key to return to the previous function.
  • Instead of keys A,B,C, and ? the color keys of the remote are used
  • The box is not able to synchronize background picture when playing back music playlists. So I calculate the needed duration of the backgound picture with the duration of the mp3 file which could cause some minor shifts.
  • Autostart and Sleeptimer is not working with this box, I have no idea about the availability of the needed box cgi scripts.

Other Player

In general they should work in most parts of the software. If you are running into problems send me a mail, then I will try to help.
I have general issues with the configuration of the MTPCenter
OK, my software need a good setup of Apache, PHP and Mysql. Therefor I'm providing the function Configuration-Check which is testing the whole setup. If you are not able to detect your problem please run the Configuration-Check and send me the following logfiles which can be found in the temp directory of the MTPCenter: 
temp/config_log.txt
temp/phpinfo.html
